Welcome to the web site of the 3rd International Scientific Conference MARKETING THEORY CHALLENGES IN TRANSITIONAL SOCIETIES organized by Marketing Institute and Marketing Department at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, Slovenia on 24th and 25st September 2009. The conference is officially supported by European Marketing Academy (EMAC).

The purpose of the conference is to provide a dialogue platform for academic researchers, doctoral and graduate students, and other researchers, engaged in the exploration of marketing discipline in European and other transitional environments. This conference serves as the motivator of better networking between marketing and other scholars and practitioners in building, promoting and disseminating new knowledge on solving the problems concerning marketing issues in the scientific and business environments.
